Women Kimono Princess white

Original Japanese kimono with illustrations from the novel'The Tales of Prince Genji'. The special feature of this kimono is the elaborate, labor-intensive color printing after the traditional Japanese technique Kyo Yuzen. To ensure that the colors look exactly and hand-painted, each color is dyed individually on the fabric, steamed for fixing and dried. Every color requires such a process.

Traditional cut. The kimono comes with a 5 cm wide tie belt made from the same fabric as the kimono.
