Since your browser sends this cookie unsolicited every time you connect to a Facebook server, Facebook could basically create a profile that lists the websites of the users belonging to the IP address. And it is conceivable that this IP address can be assigned to a person if that person logs on to Facebook later.

If you do not want Facebook to assign your collected data to our Facebook profile via our websites, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our websites. In addition, you can completely prevent the loading of Facebook plug-ins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the Facebook Blocker (http://webgraph.com/resources/facebookblocker/) or the script blocker NoScript (http://noscript.net/).
